911 ETC is the only E911 service provider chosen by Avaya to be included as one of the eight initial DevConnect partners for the launch of the Select Product Program.

The Select Product Program enables innovative developer partner applications to be ordered directly through Avaya and its distributors. The new process simplifies the way customers obtain Avaya compatible technology, and opens up market opportunities for both developers and channel partners.

SPP enables both Avaya customers and channel partners to order 911 ETC solutions direct from Avaya or its distributors. Purchasing a complete Avaya based communications solution has been made simpler by eliminating the need for numerous vendor relationships and transactions, and streamlining the ordering process.

911 ETC solutions offered through the program have been compliance-tested for interoperability with Avaya Aura Communication Manager and Session Manager. By integrating with an Avaya platform, companies are able to seamlessly implement and maintain a fully hosted and managed E911 solution that meets state legislation requirements. As part of Avaya’s orderable solution set, 911 ETC solutions can be easily purchased through both Avaya and its distributors. Customers can add specific capabilities to their existing Avaya platform or can source a complete Avaya-based communications solution that incorporates an end-to-end E911 solution.

Mark J. Fletcher, ENP, Avaya’s Public Safety Solution Product Manager stated “Avaya considers E911 an important part of the enterprise strategy. Because of that, we’ve invited 911 ETC into the DevConnect Select Product Program from our ecosystem of DevConnect technology partners. The new Avaya special program is reserved for E911 technology partners that deliver unique functionality and extend the value of Avaya’s products.”

“Now our school offices receive a pop-up on their computer screens when a 911 call is placed from anywhere in the building. It gives the information of the exact location and extension that the call was placed from. It is easy to send 911 ETC updates, changes, or additions we have made to our own phone system. They in turn update the information and promptly send it off to the PSAP so our local emergency responders are better able to respond to an emergency in our buildings.” Jennifer Kendrick, Monroe Public Schools

Without a complete E911 solution in place, responders cannot know the exact location of an ongoing emergency taking place on a school campus. This safety glitch has hundreds of K-12 schools, colleges and universities across the nation taking measures to fully implement for E911 with ongoing monthly maintenance service included. 911 ETC can assess your school’s needs, implement a solution and maintain the service for you.

With hundreds of customers across the nation, 911 ETC currently assists small private schools, large K-12 districts, community colleges and multi-site universities with the challenge of E911. The company has been providing a hosted, cost-effective solution since 1997 and is able to automatically integrate with nearly any platform in existence.
