William Svien, Executive Vice President
Prior to joining 911 ETC, Inc., Mr. Svien co-founded in 1996 The Millennium Group, an early stage CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier Services). There he served as director and Executive Vice President / Secretary. Mr. Svien co-directed corporate planning and strategy, products and services created by the company. He led the company’s sales and marketing initiatives, growing the business from a start-up mode to more than 9 million in sales revenues in a 30-month period.
Mr. Svien co-chaired an executive committee directing the company to a successful asset sale and merger in June 1999 to McLeod USA (MCLD) a national integrated telecommunications carrier. This transaction created an excellent valuation for the venture-funding group that had backed the Millennium Group.
Prior to the Millennium Group Mr. Svien was a Senior Account Executive at AT&T/Lucent Technologies for seven years. He participated successfully in its Large Business team with P&L responsibility, and consistently earned National Achievers Club Award status for his excellent marketing results to diverse industry groups.
Mr. Svien received an Undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin.
