Larry Scott, President
As founder of 911 ETC, Inc., Larry is a highly experienced and respected telecommunications professional. He has spent over 30 years in various phases of the telecommunications industry, including eight years as a manager of Verizon/GTE’s Primary Toll Center.
Recently he has concentrated on the Enhanced 911 field. As a project manager, he was responsible for implementing E-911 into the Boeing Company. While performing this project he recognized the untapped value for this service in the commercial market place and the obvious need of professional expertise in this specialized field. Over the past five years, Mr. Scott has dedicated his time and efforts to fill that role and today he is recognized nationally as an expert in Enhanced 911 PBX requirements.
He has testified in front of Washington State Senate Committee on this subject, been a seminar presenter for industry groups, served as Secretary for National Emergency Number Association (NENA) Washington Chapter and built an extensive network of specialists in related fields. Mr. Scott’s diligence in the 911 industry has propelled the company beyond current competitive systems. He holds dual degrees in Business Administration and Electronics from East L.A. Community College.
Mr. Scott is active in community affairs and currently serves as President of the Everett Gospel Mission. The mission provides shelter for about 350 homeless men, women and children.
