Emergency Onsite Notification

Emergency Notification is the most sought after enhancement to E-911 database maintenance by 911 ETC’s new and existing customers. Compatibility integration is available on most brands and release levels of PBX/VoIP environments.

As part of 911 ETC’s Crisis Connect™ suite of product offers, The 911 Call Alert™ notifies organization’s first responders the instant a PBX/9-1-1 call is placed, giving the responder the critical information needed to identify, locate, and respond to the caller faster and more effectively. 911 Call Alert™ interfaces with a variety of call reporting devices, such as text-messaging cell phones, pagers, desktop call displays, computers, LAN workstations, and printers to keep you informed of all PBX/9-1-1 call activity.

Whenever a 9-1-1 call is placed from the organization’s PBX phone system, LAN ALERT™ multicasts a message to all selected computer network workstations. The alert message automatically “pops up” on the screen of each designated workstation, or other reporting device, instantly providing vital data about the 9-1-1 caller's location. Additional “status” of the call indicates; completed, disconnected, and abandoned status. A LAN Interface is used to facilitate quick and easy connection to the enterprise’s existing 10/100Base-T net, or sub-net.

911 ETC easily installs 911 Call Alert™ into the enterprise’s existing 9-1-1 capable PBX. Two 911 Call Alert™ systems are available for either CAMA trunk or ISDN/PRI circuit monitoring applications.

Logging of 911 calls, with differentiation between completed, disconnected, and abandoned status is also available. A log of 9-1-1 calls is also maintained. The call reports include the calling station's number, location, call time, and other user data.

PBX ANI-Link™

When an organization is faced with an expensive PBX up-grade to implement E-911, an alternative may be on hand.

911 ETC’s PBX adjunct translators may forego the need for costly up-grades.

ISDN PRI TRANSLATOR

ALI/SLI Translation for ISDN-PRI over an E911 Network

The ISDN-PRI Translator provides PBX station number translation over a digital network for enhanced 9-1-1 services. It is installed between a PBX and the digital PSTN network to translate the station numbers of all 9-1-1 calling stations to a format compatible with the Automatic Number Identification (ANI) features used by the enhanced 9-1-1 network. When the translator detects a 9-1-1 call from the PBX, it performs a Station Location Identification (SLI) database lookup, translating the station number to the proper ANI format which can be processed by the 9-1-1 operator. The Interface can provide station number translation and identification for up to 60,000 different PBX stations, all while processing up to 23 simultaneous 9-1-1 calls.

The Translator supports Tone Commander's 911 Call Alert™ and LAN ALERT™ call notification features. The system interfaces with a variety of call reporting devices, such as text-messaging cell phones, pagers, desktop call displays, computers, LAN workstations, and printers to keep you informed of all PBX/9-1-1 call activity. You decide which reporting devices are used and where they are located (either locally or remotely).

The ISDN-PRI Translator can be accessed from a remote location when configuring the system and collecting call reports. For alerting your local personnel of emergency calls, a 9-1-1 Call Display can be used with the unit.

ANI LINK for CAMA

PBX ANI-Link System III 9-1-1 PBX Station Identification

If you are served by a PBX or similar telephone system, the location information sent to the public 9-1-1 dispatcher may not be correct. This is because with most PBX systems today, there is a missing link in the communications chain between the caller and the dispatcher. Instead of identifying the individual caller, only the main PBX location is reported. As a result, emergency personnel might be dispatched to the wrong address or floor, and precious time could be lost searching for the caller or incident. By properly identifying the calling location, the response to emergency calls from your facility is expedited. Help arrives at the right place, at the right time – the first time!

The Interface supports Tone Commander's LAN ALERT™ call notification features and can be customized to meet a variety of PBX station/circuit configuration requirements.
